Another case for homeownership…
20% of over 50-year-old Americans have $0 saved for retirement!

The AARP just released their 2024 Financial Security Trend Report and it makes another strong case for why homeownership is so important….especially in an economic environment like today where folks struggle to save money.

According to the study of Americans aged 50 and above:
• 20% have nothing saved for retirement
• 14% have less than $10,000
• 13% have between $10,000 and $49,999
• 11% have between $50,000 and $99,999
• Only 10% have $500,000 or more

Bottom line, that’s a whopping 58% of folks aged 50 or more that have less than $100,000 for retirement. Responsible homeownership is the best means for Americans to create long-term and generational wealth.
