Howdy. Usually things slow down between October 31 and Valentine's Day (matching the "Long Johns" calendar)... The first 24 years of the law practice focused more on TLC (Title/Real Estate, Litigation, and Credit Repair).

Since I started taking on more family law and criminal cases during the past 5 years, it has been busy, busy, busy (I always heard that most of the family law cases start in this timeframe and that there is a spike in criminal accusations around this time as well).

If you are REALLY bored... Catch me downtown tomorrow (the old City Hall at 2014 Main and then State District Court at 600 Commerce). I am doing a triple header tomorrow between filing a new litigation suit, getting a TRO in a family case, and defending a person in then exciting criminal pretrial action in the Dallas Municipal Court (woo woo)! This year, I was spared from having a true multi-county tripleheader (It is a peaceful drive if you have to hit Tarrant, Dallas and Collin County within a 7 hour window)...

I got up early for an early Denton hearing and it was moved until 10ish. I can't rely on my morning covfefe!

She is a great lawyer and is very compassionate, that Juliana Emmett Morris... We ran out of food in 76 minutes.

I just wanted to thank all of my clients for taking such a personal interest in my life. It is a good week when you get a good judgment, do the sandwiches, and resolve a criminal matter, so I'm so grateful to have you!
