DAYL-DAPA Pro Bono Partners

DAYL-DAPA Pro Bono Partners We help young lawyers in Dallas do more pro bono. Pro Bono Partners is designed to make it easier for young lawyers to do pro bono work.

We seek to alleviate the obstacles to pro bono cases by (1) connecting young lawyers to vetted local nonprofits in a subject area of their choice; (2) providing subject-area mentors; (3) partnering attorneys with volunteer paralegals, if needed; and (4) recognizing young attorneys for donating their time and energy. THERE ARE NO MEETINGS REQUIRED. To participate, pledge to perform at least 12 pro

bono hours in 2017 by signing up here: https://goo.gl/iYSQBV. To learn more, visit www.dayl.com/probonoproject or e-mail [email protected].

Huge THANK YOU to those who turned in their hours for 2020! The Pro Bono Partners Committee set a 2020 goal to donate 2,500 hours of pro bono work and we blew that out of the water with more than 4,339 hours!!

Thank you for all that you do and let's keep up the good work as we move towards closing out 2021! While things remain largely virtual at this time, we are hopeful to celebrate next year's accomplishments together in person. It's an honor and a privilege to get to partner with you in this important work.
