Meeting new clients, showing properties, and hosting open houses are everyday parts of the job, but they also require awareness, preparation, and a plan you can trust.

Proposed COPA Ordinance Could Impact Your Transactions. Share Your Input on September 10

Los Angeles County is considering a Community Opportunity to Purchase Act (COPA) ordinance, a policy that would impact the property sale process by potentially requiring certain properties to give the right of first refusal to tenants or community organizations. HR&A Advisors, a real estate and policy consulting firm, will moderate a Zoom workshop and collect input on behalf of the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs on how a COPA policy could work in practice, including sales timelines, notice requirements, compliance, and support resources.

Real estate professionals know what it takes to move a transaction from listing to close, and the impact that any delay could have on that process, which makes your perspective especially important. Register for the September 10 workshop and help make sure real-world transaction experience is part of the conversation.
