The GLAR Sustainability Workgroup partnered with USGBC California for a conversation on how green homes can support long-term value, lower operating costs, healthier living spaces, and a more sustainable future for housing.

From energy efficiency and financing to resilience and market value, the discussion offered practical insight into how REALTORS® can better understand and speak about sustainable housing.

What a great day at the Ballona Wetlands!

For NAR Volunteer Days, GLAR volunteers spent the afternoon at the Ballona Wetlands removing weeds and debris from a stretch of the wetlands, supporting ongoing efforts to protect and restore this important coastal habitat.

A heartfelt thank you to Friends of Ballona Wetlands for welcoming us, sharing the importance of this rare coastal wetland, and helping us better understand how we can all care for it as a community.

Thank you to every volunteer who joined us. Your time, energy, and enthusiasm made the day such a success!
