Path to U.S. Legal Permanent Residency:On June 18, 2024, President Biden announced a series of immigration actions using the authority granted to him by our existing immigration laws. These actions will help certain undocumented individuals in the United States, including:• Spouses and children of U.S. citizens who have been living in the United States for at least 10 years.
• You may be eligible to apply for your green card without leaving the United States, if, as of June 17, 2024:
• You are in the United States after entering without permission;
• You have lived in the United States for at least 10 years and have never left;
• You are legally married to a U.S. citizen or have a qualifying stepchild relationship with a U.S. citizen; and
• You do not have certain criminal history or pose a threat to national security or public safety.

EXAMEN DE CIUDADANIA Y SUS EXCEPCIONES PARA HACERLO EN EL IDIOMA INGLES
Usted estaría exento del requisito de idioma inglés, aunque tiene que tomar el examen de educación cívica si:
a) Tiene 50 años de edad o más y ha residido de manera permanente y legal en Estados Unidos por 20 años (excepción "50/20") al momento de solicitar la naturalización; o
b) Tiene 55 años de edad o más y ha residido de manera permanente y legal en Estados Unidos por 15 años (excepción "55/15") al momento de solicitar la naturalización
c) Usted puede que sea elegible para una excepción de los requisitos de naturalización de examen de inglés y educación cívica si no puede cumplir con estos requisitos debido a una discapacidad física o de desarrollo o a un trastorno mental.

USCIS announced a parole program for Venezuelans on October 19, 2022, and expanded the parole program to include Nicaragua, Haiti, and Cuba on January 5, 2023. Any person who is a U.S. citizen, or lawful permanent resident or holds a lawful status in the United States; passes a background check; and shows sufficient financial resources can file an Application for parole for his/her spouse/partner and unmarried child under the age of 21. Once approved, beneficiaries will have travel authorization for 90 days to enter the United States and be eligible to apply for work authorization. The period of parole will be up to two years.

A victory brightens up my day! U.S. National Visa Center finally agrees with my arguments and allows a 21 year old daughter of a U.S. legal permanent Resident to immigrate to U.S. immediately as a child of U.S. Legal Permanent Resident rather than waiting for visa availability for 7 years.
