Colorado Springs Lost Pet Alert Using social media to educate and engage the community about reuniting lost and found pets. Consider us an online version of posting flyers.

Our Vision is to increase the number of pets that are reunited with their families. We do this by educating the community on what to do when they find or lose a pet, leveraging the community resources and support and acting as an electronic flyer. We recognize no one is an expert on finding their lost pet or reuniting a found pet. Losing a pet can be overwhelming and stressful and s

teps can be missed. Having the proper information and the support of the community makes all the difference! We do our best to condense the information so you can be educated quickly. We want to spread the word about your lost or found pet but do not want to replace existing systems such as The Humane Society, Pet Harbor, Nextdoor app, etc. Many people still do not use social media. Statistically, The Humane Society of Pikes Peak Region will be the first place a family goes when they have lost their pet, in our region. Thank you all for your continued support! Our page is a community of lost pet advocates who strive to help reunite pets across our community and specific to El Paso County, Colorado. By participating on this page, you are agreeing to our participation guidelines. While we encourage open discussion and invite you to share your opinions, we do have the right to delete your comment and/or post if we feel it fits into any of the below categories. We also have the right to remove you from the page entirely, if we feel you have violated our guidelines. No warning or explanation will be given. Grounds for deletion or removal: Any comments or posts that include or are related to indirectly or directly, but not limited to, profanity, personal attacks, judgment, misinformation, spam, irrelevance, harassment, taunting, snarky, rude, jokes, and promotion of violence or illegal activities. In addition, any comments related to re-homing a found pet will also be deleted without warning. All legal adoptions should be processed through a State licensed rescue or shelter. We do not assist with re-homing or permit this behavior on our page.
