🚨 PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN LOOKING FOR RENTAL HOMES ONLINE! 🚨

A client sent this to me today, and I wanted to share it because this is exactly how people get taken advantage of.

Someone on TikTok is advertising 815 Heritage Dr. in Navasota for $800/month.

This is our legitimate rental listing, and the actual rent is $1,850/month. The person advertising it for $800 is NOT affiliated with our company and is directing people to a different phone number.

What surprised me most was that the TikTok account has more than 1,800 followers and thousands of views. Please don't assume an account is legitimate just because it has followers, likes, or professional-looking photos.

🏠 If a rental price seems too good to be true, STOP and verify it.

Before sending anyone money:
• Search the property address online and compare listings.
• Verify the Realtor or property management company.
• Call the brokerage using a phone number you independently find.
• Never send a deposit just because someone says other people are interested.
• Never give your Social Security number or banking information to someone you haven't verified.

These scammers aren't always creating fake houses — sometimes they're stealing REAL listings, REAL addresses and REAL photos.
