Time spent at Hillsdale College.

Incredible last couple of weekends visiting Hillsdale College. First, at John A. Halter Shooting Sports Education Center to watch collegiate and high schoolers celebrate the 2nd Amendment during a sporting clays tournament.

Next, stopped at the AcuSport Grille for lunch and then onto the Liberty and Company to do some shopping.

Also took time to enjoy some basketball and time with our Cheerleader Ella O'Grady and friends .

Thank you everyone for I am humbled by your support, blessings and kind words for our family as I transition from the Michigan judiciary.

Every day in the quietness of my car as I drove to the courthouse I prayed for grace and wisdom in all that I was tasked to do. Being a judge is a life changing experience. It gives you a front row seat to the human condition, where most people are simply one decision from success in their life, however cannot see the pathway.

Over the years, I have received letters to the bench that I kept to share someday. These “Letters to the Bench” will show you the triumphs that come from challenge and many times heartache in the lives of people that come before the bench everyday. I will share these real stories showing that life can be fragile. However care for others in seeking “truth”, and not the simple application of law, can lead to healing and forgiveness.

Thank you everyone for your incredible outreach and support. We still have much work to do. As we transition, I will remain engaged and hope to see many of you around the state this election year.
