In 2017 I walked past a McLaren dealership and took a picture.
I wasn’t close. I wasn’t even in the conversation. I just looked at it and thought, one day.
At the time I was an associate at a big law firm. Good job. Good salary. Clear path. But I knew I wanted to build something of my own.
So I walked away. Started from scratch. Built a law firm from my desk at home with no clients, no staff, and no safety net.
I didn’t set a deadline. I didn’t track milestones. I just picked up the phone every time it rang, took care of every client who trusted me, and let the referrals do the rest.
9 years later I took delivery of the car I once took a picture of.
But the car isn’t why I’m posting this.
I’m posting this because when I took that photo in 2017, I didn’t know anyone who had built what I was trying to build. No blueprint. No roadmap.
Just a bet on myself and a model I learned from watching my father run his business for 65 years…pick up the phone, treat people like family, and never cut corners.
That’s what Legal Halp was built on. Flat fees. No hourly billing. And a lawyer who actually picks up.
