She didn’t wait for permission. She built it anyway.

I’m incredibly honored to be featured in *Thrive Insider*, sharing a message I believe every woman needs to hear:

👉 You do not need permission to build a million-dollar business on your own terms.

For so many high-achieving women—especially in law, finance, and traditional careers—we’ve been taught to follow a path, not create one. To play it safe. To wait until we’re “ready.”

But here’s the truth:
Clarity comes from action.
Confidence is built, not given.
And the life you want? It’s on the other side of deciding you’re allowed to go after it.

This article shares more of my journey, what I’ve learned building both a thriving law practice *and* a business helping other women do the same—and why I believe the rules are changing.

If you’ve been feeling the pull to do something bigger, this is your sign.

And if this resonates, I’d love to hear—what would you build if you stopped waiting for permission? 💭

Ambitious women don’t fail because they lack talent or drive. They struggle because the traditional...

It’s easy to focus on what’s next:

The next hire
The next milestone
The next goal

And completely overlook how far you’ve already come.

But growth isn’t built in big moments.

It’s built in small, consistent wins.

The first client.
The first system that works.
The first time something feels easier.

Those moments matter.

What’s a small win you’ve had recently?

👇 Let’s celebrate it.

No one starts out great at running a law firm.

Not hiring.
Not leadership.
Not managing a team.
Not building systems.

And yet… so many attorneys hold themselves back because they don’t feel “good enough” yet.

You don’t become great first.

You become great because you start.

Every successful firm owner you admire?

They figured it out as they went.

What’s something you’ve been waiting to feel “ready” for?

👇 Let’s talk about it.

Confidence isn’t built by staying comfortable.

It’s built by doing things that stretch you—consistently.

Not huge, overwhelming leaps.

Small, intentional steps:

Having a hard conversation
Trying something new in your business
Putting yourself out there

Over time, those small moments create real confidence.

What’s one thing you can do today that feels just a little uncomfortable?

👇 Let’s make it happen.

If you wait until you feel ready…

you’ll wait a long time.

Most of the big moves in my business didn’t come from feeling ready.

They came from deciding to move forward anyway.

Starting a firm.
Hiring a team.
Teaching.
Scaling.

None of it felt “perfectly timed.”

But starting created the next step.

And the next.

And the next.

What’s something you’ve been waiting to feel ready for?

Success in your law firm isn’t built in big moments.

It’s built in the small things you do consistently:

Following up with leads
Sticking to your processes
Showing up—even when it’s inconvenient
Making decisions instead of avoiding them

It’s not glamorous.

But it works.

Consistency is what separates firms that struggle from firms that grow.

What’s one habit that has made the biggest difference in your business?

👇 Share it.

Sometimes the simplest thing is the hardest. What have you been waiting on? Take the first step and then then next. You've got this, it won't be perfect and that's okay! Take the first step. You're doing great.

No one starts out knowing how to run a law firm.

Not hiring.
Not systems.
Not pricing.
Not leadership.

And yet… so many attorneys hold themselves back because they don’t feel “ready.”

You don’t need to know everything.

You just need to be willing to figure it out.

Every successful firm owner you see?

They learned by doing.

What’s something you’ve been avoiding because you don’t feel confident yet?

Growth will ask you to do things that feel uncomfortable.

Raise your prices.
Hire before you feel ready.
Set boundaries with clients.
Step into leadership.

And most people hesitate right there.

Because comfort feels safe.

But staying comfortable often keeps you exactly where you are.

Every stage of growth in my firm required doing something that felt uncomfortable first.

What’s something you know you need to do—but haven’t yet?

You can read all the books.
Take all the CLEs.
Listen to all the podcasts.

But none of it changes your business unless you implement.

I see this all the time:

Attorneys consuming great information…
and then going right back to the same habits.

Progress doesn’t come from knowing more.

It comes from doing something with what you already know.

What’s ONE thing you’ve learned recently that you haven’t implemented yet?

👇 Let’s change that today.
