Legal Ethics Consulting, P.C. can assist lawyers in responding to ARDC requests for investigation; defend lawyers before the ARDC Inquiry Board, Hearing Board and Review Board; and provide legal defense in reinstatement petitions. LEC can assist doctors, dentists, and other licensed professionals who face investigations or complaints by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulat

ion. LEC also provides counsel and representation to law graduates who face Character & Fitness challenges. Invitations to participate in CLE programs as ethics presenter or moderator are appreciated and welcomed. LEC created this page to be a resource for lawyers who need assistance navigating the ethics rules; and to help identify things that lawyers can do in their practice to reduce their risk of becoming the subject of a disciplinary or malpractice claim. There are also updates to rule changes and new cases as they come out.
