Hey, I’m Jake—and this is my wife, Rasheeda. Together, we run a design and construction business based out of Philly. She’s the creative genius behind the design, and I bring the construction side to life. We make a pretty solid team, if I do say so myself.

Now, she wanted to wait for new headshots or catch me mid-project for the “perfect” post… but let’s be honest, that might never happen. So here we are—done is definitely better than perfect.

Five years ago, Rasheeda was just getting started in design, working part-time and building something special. After dealing with a not-so-great contractor, she was ready to throw in the towel on renovations altogether. I told her, “We’re not quitting over this.” So I stepped in—brought in the right people, leaned into what we’d learned from our years in real estate, and eventually became a licensed General Contractor.

Now, we’re managing around 10 full renovation projects a year between our design and construction teams. We’ve built businesses focused on trust, quality work, and doing right by our clients—and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’re creating together.

We’ve got some exciting projects in the works, and while I’m not the best at stopping to take pictures, I’ll do my best to keep up. For now, here’s a look at some of the projects we’ve done over the years. Got a favorite?
