Thanks to Mercedes Lilienthal and Crankshaft Culture we are featured in OVR magazine this month:

Fox Bravo Overland is a nonprofit using backcountry expeditions to help veterans, first responders, and service members rebuild trust, confidence, and community - one trail at a time.

A big thanks to Brennan's Garage for supporting FBO with Tauler Jack Kit. Our kitchen trailer suffered a bent axle and ruined leaf spring, and the trailer spend 3 days supported by this jack while we were working on a fix. Worked perfectly! We also wanted to thank krobuilt for sourcing our team with a proper axle and leaf spring which should work for years to come. They are a great shop and highly recommend if you are stuck in the Reno area.

In collaboration with Irish trading Wh***ey and Copeland Distillery the US brand Ambassador and distillery liaison Manager for Irish Trading Wh***ey traveled with a bottle of Fox Bravo Overland Merchants Quay Wh***ey to the US. The bottle traveled through Texas, New Mexico, Nevada and California. It survived rugged trials, high altitude and three feet alkali dust. A journey done for an exceptionally worthwhile reason. A massive thanks to Irish Trading Wh***ey and Copleand Distillery. Fox Bravo Overland, keep doing what you do best.

Day 8 — Final day on the trail.

Fox Bravo rolled straight out of camp and hit the dirt for Verdi Peak. Tight, windy trail all the way to 8,200 feet and a lunch stop with a view worth the climb.

Back at camp for the capstone: Team Luna took the blue ribbon in the team event that included land nav, changing a tire and winching their vehicle to safety.

A final campfire provided an opportunity to reflect and remember the events of 9/11 and how they changed all of our lives.

We are grateful for this community and for our sponsors and supporters.

Today the FBO crew visited Virginia City and took a slightly different team photo. Enjoy!

Day 6: Fox Bravo Overland took a rest day off the trail. Morning at Kings Beach on Lake Tahoe — swim, sit, and ice cream at Log Cabin Ice Cream. Back to camp around 2 for a land nav class, then darts, co****le, and pétanque. Wrapped it with dinner and a fire. Virginia City next.
