Why does choosing the right title company matter in the grand scheme of things?

Because regardless of our size, we pack a punch when it comes to our underwriters at Stewart Title Guaranty Company. We underwrite with the fourth largest company in the title industry, which makes up $2.9 billion dollars of the market in title insurance.

What does that mean for you?

Less risk. Service you can count on. It means the highest quality product and protection you can count on. If you have a claim, we pay out unlike other smaller companies. They bet on you never having a claim or it being outside of the policy requirements. That’s a risk we don’t have to take.

We’ve been pretty quiet lately on social media. What have we been up to? Closings and post closing day in and day out. Doing the best job we can for our clients and this is what one of them said about us this week!

Well… for starters your company was referred by another title company. That speaks volumes, when one company, a rather large company, can’t deliver, they refer you. That’s saying something. Second, you are extremely approachable by email or phone. Most attorneys are not NOT like that. Third, your office works quickly, you guys are efficient, corrections ~ changes on docs are done quickly, and you do NOT get days delay for closings when lender instructions are sent.

Most people think a closing ends when everybody signs.
It doesn't.
This is what the front seat of my car looked like yesterday after closing with Keith Cooper of Century 21 Advantage. Recording package headed to the courthouse. Lender documents going back to the mortgage company. Title documents to the new owners. Payoff checks to the old lienholders. Homeowners insurance premium to the carrier.
Every envelope goes somewhere different. Every one has a deadline.
Nobody sees this part. But it's the part that makes the deed valid, the mortgage satisfied, and the keys yours.
Congratulations to Keith and his clients on a smooth close. That stack of FedEx envelopes means it's done right.
