Black Dog Reno

I can tell you that Black Dog Reno cares about quality, details, and following through. But those are only words until the work proves them.

So I would rather show you.

This reel is not a promise about what I can do. It is a record of what was actually done. A difficult situation was handled, a tight timeline was met, and a home was ready for someone to return to.

That is how trust is earned. Do the work well. Stand behind it. Let the result speak for itself.

One project does not build a reputation, but every project contributes to one. This is another step toward building the kind of name I want Black Dog Reno to have.

Building a business often asks for belief long before it offers proof.

That is one of the deeper lessons we continue learning as we build Black Dog Reno.

One week. One 1999 National RV Tradewinds 7370. One completely reimagined bedroom.

This is our own motorhome. Melissa designed the new space, and Nathan completed the remodel. 🛠

We removed the dated cabinetry, carpet, flooring and carpeted ceiling—then rebuilt the bedroom around a residential king mattress without sacrificing storage.

The remodel included:

• Queen-to-king platform extension with added storage on both sides
• Lightweight cedar tongue-and-groove ceiling
• Relocated wiring and two independently controlled 12V bedside lights
• Lightweight hardboard wall repairs with a seamless painted finish
• Custom travel-ready basket shelving
• Refinished adjustable closet
• New LVP flooring
• Matching two-drawer nightstands with 120V outlets and illuminated USB charging

Tight spaces require thoughtful design, lightweight construction and storage that works on the road.

What do you think of the transformation-and would you choose a king bed in a motorhome? Let us know in the comments! 👇👇

Would you believe this is the same kitchen and dining area?

What began as a dark, dated space is now bright, cohesive, and completely reimagined—without losing the warmth that makes a home feel lived in.

From demolition and preparation to cabinetry, lighting, finishes, and final details, every step was guided by thoughtful design and careful craftsmanship.

Thoughtful design. Quality craft. Built with love.

What detail stands out most to you?

Ok, ready or not! The grand reveal of the architectural wall! This a custom design by Melissa Anderson! Built with love!

FUN FACT! www.doellerhouse.com was designed with hardly any 45* or 90* corners, walls, cuts etc! The wall was designed with that same inspiration to flow with the rest of the design in the home!

Well here are the first before and after pics for the bedroom of our motorhome reno!

We had to put our King sized bed in. It required basically gutting the whole room!

Video coming in the near future of the demo!
