The Harvard European Law Association expresses solidarity to the people of Ukraine and everybody impacted by the attack inflicted by the Russian military forces Thursday morning local time. In line with the values promoted by the European Union since its inception and with foundational principles of international law, we condemn the Russian government’s use of force against the Ukrainian population’s territorial integrity and political independence. We hope and advocate for a peaceful solution to this crisis.
