I'm passionate about all things birth, and I'm hopeful that any tidbit of information I share might help you to advocate for yourself and your birth preferences. Women are so strong, and birth is the greatest example of how powerful the human body is. Your first birth dictates future births. So many women aren't informed, so let's help you have an amazing birth experience with as little trauma physically and mentally as possible.

In its first update in 14 years, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) released new treatment guidelines for recurrent miscarriage. National Twin Day👯‍♀️

These beautiful twin placentas deserve a permanent spot on here.

I witnessed two twin births last year. First placenta is from fraternal girls (you can tell they’re fraternal because even though they share membranes, they have their own placentas.) Second placenta is from identical girls who shared a placenta but each had their own sacs, making a vaginal birth less risky. (Baby B had a smaller section of placenta which caused her to be smaller than Baby A… so interesting!)

Both moms delivered their girls vaginally in the OR with the same doctor. There are a few in Buffalo that will!😉
