Cody had a good catch on this morning's inspection in the electrical sub-panel. The water heater breaker was cooking ... Literally!

Thermal imaging showed an increased temperature and upon closer inspection it was observed to be over 220°F! Inspectors with Barrie Inspections call out wiring and breakers for evaluation once they go over 140°F.

This one is definitely in the report and the Realtor was notified ASAP!

Barrie Inspections was proud to help our communities firefighters out by bringing them some food during the large wild fire in lower Brazoria County this afternoon.

There were volunteer fire departments from all across Brazoria County, Brazoria County Road & Bridge, Texas Forest Service, US Fish and Wildlife, Brazoria County Fire Marshal, and numerous others.

Breaker tie defect! Old school hack that doesn't work. We've seen it many times on older homes, such as this home.

If you have an older home, check your electric panel and get some proper breaker ties to install.

Commerical Inspection gets a little creepy! 🤣💀

Nothing surprises us anymore...today's inspection was at a commercial location that was a title company, real estate, office, and then a funeral home.

Fortunately no 'body' was there during the inspection 😂😂😂

Apprentice Cody was not impressed. 😄
