McNinch Law Firm is excited to announce that Emma McNair Lyle has joined the firm as an associate. Emma was raised in Brandon, Mississippi where she graduated from Hartfield Academy. After high school, she attended the University of Mississippi where she first began studying law. While at Ole Miss, Emma volunteered at North Mississippi Rural Legal Services, studied abroad in Salerno, Italy, and participated as an active member of Delta Gamma Sorority. Additionally, Emma received the Outstanding Paralegal Student Award from the Ole Miss Department of Legal Studies and graduated cm laude, earning her Bachelor of Paralegal Studies in just three years.
In 2018, Emma began law school at Mississippi College School of Law. As a student in the school’s Accelerated Two-Year J.D. Program, Emma spent many hours in the library studying but also made time for work, volunteering, and extracurricular activities. While at MC Law, Emma was a member of the Women’s Student Bar Association and Family Law Society. During her first year, Emma volunteered at Mission First Legal Aid Office and was awarded 1L Volunteer of the Year by the organization. In her final semesters, Emma studied International Human Rights in Merida, Mexico, and was admitted to limited practice in the chancery courts of Mississippi through the school’s Adoption Clinic.
Emma is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association and Rankin County Bar Association. When she is not at the office, Emma can be found at the reservoir camping, boating, and jet skiing with her husband, Blake, and their Goldendoodle, Teddy. Emma also enjoys traveling and attending concerts and music festivals.
