If you own a business or have assets/property held in an LLC you will need to file a Beneficial Ownership Information Report (BOIR) with FINCEN by the end of the year. There is a $591 per day penalty for not having a the BOIR filed for each LLC by 1/1/2025.
Also, there is a section that asks for you to upload your ID, it will not accept a HEIC file (what many people have their phones set to save photos as because it uses less data). The FINCEN form will accept a JPEG file so you may have to go into your phone settings and change your photo format to "Most Compatible" so it saves as a JPEG file.
