Hi notary friends and fam! I wouldn’t normally share this kind of content on this page, but my family has had an emergency come about and any help we can get could make a huge difference. My husband and I take in stray cats in Bethlehem and do what we can to reunite them with their owners or provide them shelter while they’re with us. Earlier this month, we rescued a stray cat we called Ichabod. He had an internally severed leg that needed surgery to remove, but we were able to reunite him with his owner! Unfortunately, several days ago, the owner reached out and informed us he was not capable of keeping Ichabod any longer and he planned to get rid of him. To our disappointment, the owner had also not taken care of the leg needing amputation and the poor thing was still running around on a damaged leg. Now, we’ve taken ownership of Ichabod to keep him out of a shelter or worse, but the cost for the amputation surgery is more prohibitive than we expected and the leg needs to be amputated soon or there is a risk that Ichabod could decline past a saveable point. After discussing our options, a coworker suggested I put together a GoFundMe, in the hopes that others may want to help save this sweet boy. We know first-hand how tight finances can be, especially now and being a small business owner, so we’re asking anyone who sees this to please consider sharing it, even if you can’t contribute financially. Ichabod is a good sweet boy and will make a wonderful addition to our family and a big brother for Howl, and we want everyone else we know who loves animals as much as us to get a chance to experience knowing him too. For anyone willing to click or share, please use the link in my bio! Thank you to all of your for reading, clicking, or sharing in our quest to save Ichabod and give him a new and better life with our little notary family! 💜
