March 6. Ghana 🇬🇭
A small country on the west coast of Africa changed history.
On this day in 1957, Ghana stood up and declared its freedom. Not just for itself, but as a signal to the entire continent that independence was possible.
Drums. Kente cloth. The Black Star rising in the middle of the flag.
A people proud of their culture. Proud of their resilience. Proud of their future.
Ghana’s independence was more than a political event.
It was a declaration of dignity.
Today we celebrate the music, the food, the colors, the language, the traditions, and the spirit of a nation that helped ignite a movement across Africa.
Happy Independence Day, Ghana.
