The third video in our new series, "One-Minute Mondays," is how to drive a company vehicle without an ignition interlock device (when you're ordered to have one).

Having an ignition interlock is mandatory if you have been convicted of DUI, have entered the deferred prosecution or if otherwise ordered by the Court. This can create a serious problem if you drive a company vehicle.

We have started a new series on our YouTube channel. It has become clear that there is a void in the criminal law / DUI arena and online videos. Most lawyers who film helpful videos cover multiple topics at once in a lengthy (and boring) format. Most people don't want to listen to a lawyer go on and on and on and on, while waiting to hear specific information on a topic. Most viewers just want to learn what they need to know quickly, and move on.

In an attempt to rectify this problem, we are introducing "One-Minute Mondays." The one-minute Monday videos are just that, one-minute on a specific topic. It's simple, hopefully helpful and you only need to listen to me for about one minute.

College and COVID 19 is a topic in the news, and rightly so. One of the hardest hit college towns in the United States is Pullman, Washington. In a previous video I applauded the City's attempt to do something but also criticized the obvious flaws in the law.

United States Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away on September 18, 2020. Those in the legal community have mourned her loss, as have many in this country. While I may not have necessarily agreed with every decision or dissent from Justice Ginsburg (I also agreed with many of her decisions!), there was a level of compassion in her decisions and dissents that is not often seen at this level of the Judiciary.

In the following video I discuss what I believe are the top 7 decisions and dissents from Justice Ginsberg.

Mask Mandates are in more than 30 States, as of September, 2020. These mandates are similar but not necessarily the same and it's important to understand your State's COVID mask laws. Of course, there are exceptions in certain situations and these laws may not apply for certain people with medical issues or disabilities.

The question ultimately is, are these laws any good? Is law enforcement going to cite people for such violations? And, is criminalizing violations of mask mandates a good idea?

Ah yes, here is seemingly a controversial topic. Are mask mandates constitutional? Well, it's first important to approach this topic from a non-emotional standpoint. I personally disagree with many laws but I'm guided by precedent not necessarily belief,.

According to the US Supreme Court (in a related case) mask mandates are constitutional. However, this could change depending on who the next Supreme Court Justice is and who appoints this man or woman.
