A vulnerable moment, but one not too many would share.

The fire was hot and the battle was tough, but the ultimate victory was saving a life and not just another win on my trial list.

I would go through the fire for her over again.

Thank you God to allow me to serve. Huge thank you to my very special and amazing client. I cannot wait to hear the story she writes from here.

I know sometimes they switch up later on, but a lot of times there are some red flags from the jump. Pay close attention. As attorneys we can only deal the cards we are handed.

A dear client of mine came into the office earlier this month for her mediation and she said “Ashley I brought you cookies and also I’m not the best believer, but I also prayed last night for you and me.” 🥺 In the moment I missed it, but after we finish setting up for mediation I realized that’s why I do what I do.

I’m far from perfect and my clients know it, but I’m honored that in the midst of their world being turned upside down I am being used as a vessel to bring people closer to God in their storm.

I’m a firm believer that God sends me each of my clients for a reason so these cases don’t just require I go to battle in the physical at the courthouse, but I have to also prepare myself for the spiritual battle because this profession will wear you down quickly before you know it.

February flew by, but I managed to enjoy life beyond the law. As a leader, I hold myself accountable, just like I do my team. We're all on this wild ride together, one case and billable hour at a time. I couldn’t do this without them, and honestly, my clients probably adore my staff more than me 😝

The most rewarding part of my job is giving back to the community, especially to the children. I'm grateful for opportunities to support events that empower our future leaders. As a sponsor, I'm proud to contribute to positive change in Brazoria County. I'll never forget my humble beginnings and those who helped me along the way. It takes a village, and together, we can rise up to lead.

A 5k sandwiched into between two busy court weeks is exactly what I needed to balance the practice of law with self care. We can do so much more in this world when we balance our time and not spend our time doing only one thing.

Not every day is this long. But the long days definitely make me appreciation the shorter days. This week has kicked my butt. I’ve been in court every day. Today after court and consults I drove an hour away to see my clients (3 beautiful children). I laughed with them about all the silly things they could think of. Was I tired. Yes! Would I have rather went home to my own children? Yes! But it warmed my heart to be walking out their home and hear them say we’ll see you again right? 🥹 This is my why: showing up on the hard days to pour into others even when I’m a little tired.

All I have is joy as I reflect on this last year and realize how much God covered me

My team and I are grateful for every client that trusted us.

We are rested as we took off the month of December.

They say to much is given, much is expected.

This year the Law Office of A. Green closes out the donation total at $7,520.

Donations went to 3 different organizations in the community that focuses on uplifting children and families in our community. I am so honored that God entrusted me to sow a seed into our children who are fundamental in our future!

I cannot wait to learn about new organizations next year, and I’m believing God will double this donation amount next year.

Thank you to all the organizations and the work they do for families and children in our community
