Wow what a run!! I am finally sitting down to comment -- sorry it has taken a few days. I am overjoyed at the campaign that was run. I am proud of the people who helped, cheered, worked on this endeavor, each one of you is a blessing in my life and this community. I must thank my family who made tremendous sacrifices for over a year! Also, I want you all to know that I am perfectly fine, tired a little, but fine. I am thankful for the experience of this event, for all the wonderful people I have met and the lifelong friendships formed. I am certain that God has a plan and I am anxiously awaiting the opportunity to live out HIS plan. I look forward to working in our community to help children and families be all they can be! THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!

I am saddened and disgusted at the level of corruption that exists regarding the local elections. It appears the democrats will stop at nothing to maintain control. Please share this and PLEASE GET OUT AND VOTE TO CLEAN UP JEFFERSON COUNTY!!

It seems Mr. Thorne can't make up his mind who he likes, the poor or the rich. After he tells people in this video that the rich will probably end up in hell, he then goes on to say he's going to win because he's got more money. From the Beaumont Enterprise today... VERBATIM. "Thorne said Republicans might seem energetic in this year's general election, but a lot of it is high visibility on social media, which is free. He said he thinks Democrats have more money and a better get-out-the-vote effort." I guess if you consider PAID efforts "better", he might have a point. But I promise, tomorrow and for the next two weeks, you will see some very energetic and dedicated people out working the polls for Jolei. AND NOT ONE OF THEM WILL BE A PAID STAFF MEMBER. THEY'RE ALL VOLUNTEERS! Which reminds me, I'd like to thank each and every person that has helped in this event. It has been a massive undertaking by many many people. Every favor is worthy of our appreciation and we sincerely do appreciate it.
