Client question: Why should I hire you? I can negotiate the case myself and not have to give you 1/3rd.
Answer: Statistically, a lawyer is going to get you a much higher settlement amount than you could get on your own. Even with the 1/3rd attorney fee, you will end up with more in your pocket than you could get by yourself. Insurance companies pay less when you're not represented.

13 years ago on May 1st, I opened my own law practice. Some people told me it was a great idea and some people told me I was crazy to leave a salaried position with insurance benefits. THEY WERE BOTH RIGHT! 😊 13 years later, I'm still here and love what I get to do for a living (especially the part where I'm my own boss). Thanks to all of my colleagues, friends, family, and clients who trust me with their most personal and sensitive matters. I only wish my parents had lived to see it...they would've been proud.🙂

Even injury lawyers get hit by hit & run drivers sometimes. 😡 It sucks but that’s why we have uninsured motorist coverage. Not pictured: my aching back.

Moral of the story: be careful letting your kids get "temporary" tattoos, especially in foreign countries where there will likely be no legal recourse once you get back home.

A five-year-old boy who got a henna tattoo of a dragon while on vacation is now left with a large scar on his arm, due to an unknown allergy to an additive in the henna dye.

"A picture speaks 1000 words!"If you're in an accident TAKE PICTURES...not only of the vehicle damage, but also photos documenting your injuries. Statistically, I obtain higher settlements in cases where I have photographs of the injuries to submit to insurance companies.
