I’ve lived in Argyle a long time and have been fortunate to make a lot of great friends here over the years. But I have to say, some of the new friendships that have come into my life through Women of Argyle this past year have been a true blessing. ❤️ There’s always room in your life for more good people.

JUST SOLD | This closing was such a great reminder of something that’s really important to me: supporting local businesses whenever we can.

So many Argyle-area people and businesses had a hand in getting this one to the closing table and helping my buyers get settled into their new home.

The listing agent lives right here in Argyle. I live here. Our mortgage lender Jim Juergens - NEO Home Loans is from Argyle, and our escrow officer works right here at an Argyle title company, Independence Title Argyle - Schultz & Kellar, PLLC. We worked with an Argyle family-owned roofing company, RepairYourRoof.com, a local plumber CR Plumbing, Air & Electric, and a home inspector from Argyle, Ninnis Home Inspection. And after closing, I sent over my decorator, also from Argyle, to help my buyers think through furniture placement and ideas for making the home their own.

That’s a whole lot of local in one real estate transaction. ❤️

We have so many talented business owners and professionals right here in our community, and I think we should all look for opportunities to support one another whenever we can. This transaction was such a great example of that.

And most importantly, congratulations to my buyers on their beautiful new home in Prairie View Farms! I’m so excited for them to start this next chapter.

One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to see how my buyers make their new house feel like HOME.

One of my first-time home buyers recently sent me these before & after photos of their living and dining area in Canyon Falls, and I think they did SUCH a great job!

And can we talk about that fireplace?! 😍 I am in love with the stonework they added. It makes such a huge difference and really anchors the whole space.

I love getting these little updates after closing. It’s so fun to see a house I remember from showings turn into a home that feels completely like THEM.

I toured the new Highland Homes model in Furst Ranch last week, and WOW!!

Furst Ranch is developing quickly - there are a LOT of new homes going up over there. But new construction is only part of the inventory story in Argyle right now. 👀

One minute you're walking them into kindergarten... and the next you're helping plan a wedding. ❤️

This week is an extra special one for our family as our son gets married to the wonderful girl he met at Argyle High School. It has me feeling a little nostalgic and reminded just how quickly these years go by.

After that little trip down memory lane, I also have this week's Argyle real estate update:

🏡 Homes are still going under contract
🏡 Sellers averaged 97% of their most recent list price

JUST CLOSED | One of my favorite parts of this job isn't just helping clients buy or sell a home. It's getting to watch the story continue long after closing day.

I sold this 10 acre Bartonville property back in 2017, and over the years they've invited me back to see all of the incredible renovations they made. Honestly, it has felt like having my own private HGTV show, and I've loved watching their vision come to life one project at a time.

So when they called and shared they were taking a huge leap of faith to move their family to Tennessee, I was honored they trusted me once again to help them with this next chapter.
We got to work, the home generated tremendous interest, and we were under contract in just 10 days.
