A Montgomery County Maryland Jury handed out a huge verdict in an injured Uber-driver personal injury case. The total verdict was nearly 50 times State Farm's offer. State Farm was the insurer of the responsible driver in this case.

Uber driver receives $1.8 million personal injury verdict from a jury following a Montgomery County, Maryland personal injury trial. State Farm, the insurer for the at-fault driver offered less than $50,000 to settle the case pretrial.

Veterans Affairs is making a push in 2022 to reach out to Veterans who may be in need of and entitled to VA exams, treatment, and benefits. As a Marine Corps Veteran who is registered with VA, I received this week a letter from VA encouraging me to schedule a physical or mental health exam at a local VA facility. That letter is included in the post below, complete with VA resources--web addresses and phone numbers--for Veterans in need of VA services.
