Forgiveness doesn’t mean opening the door again. Those are two different decisions.
A lot of people refuse to forgive because they think it means going back — letting the same person into the same place to do the same thing.
So they hold the line by holding the grudge, and the grudge costs them more than the boundary ever would.
You can release what happened and still keep the door closed. Forgiveness frees you.
The boundary protects you. Forgiveness | Walking in Freedom through God’s Grace is about having both.
