Inspired by a collective of diverse activists in Minneapolis, who successfully advocated for more multifamily, affordable housing in their city, Neighbors for More Neighbors Ann Arbor advocates for a community that is inclusive, affordable, welcoming, and environmentally conscious. Currently, 72% of residential Ann Arbor is zoned for single-family housing only. Almost 80,000 people commute to Ann Arbor to work daily, contributing to traffic congestion and greenhouse gasses. In 2020, Ann Arbor will be revising its City Master Plan, and we are invested in changes that make room for new neighbors.
