As we head into the fall months, tax sales become a timely topic for real estate professionals across our area. With Anderson County’s October tax sales approaching, it’s a great time for Buyers, Sellers, and Agents to understand how tax sales can affect a property’s title and, ultimately, a real estate transaction.

It’s coming! The transition to UAD 3.6 and the redesigned Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (URAR) represent the most significant change to residential appraisal reporting in decades. Effective November 5, 2026, all appraisers completing GSE lending assignments must use the new forms.

To help you prepare, Danny Hoy is partnering with Certified Residential Appraiser Malinda Griffin to offer a 1.5 hour session to get your questions answered on November 5, 2026, and to walk through the changes, all while networking.

Anderson County is moving to the new ACPASS system, which means property owners will need to complete a one-time registration and create a username and password.

Brad breaks down what you need to know so you’re not caught off guard when it’s time to access the tax system.
