Happy 1st birthday to our sweet and sassy Shiloh. One whole year of you and somehow, you have filled our lives with more joy, laughter, love, and personality than I ever could have imagined.
Watching you discover the world has been one of the greatest experiences of my entire life. I love your curiosity and the way you have to explore EVERYTHING. I love your belly laughs, your funny little faces, and the way you already know how to make us laugh on purpose — because yes, at one year old, you absolutely have a sense of humor. 😂 I love that you are fearless and rambunctious, sweet and snuggly, independent and loving, all rolled into one tiny, larger-than-life little girl.
It feels like just yesterday you were a tiny baby wrapping your hand around my finger. And now? You come over just to give me a hug, climb into my lap for a cuddle, or plant an unsolicited kiss on me simply because you want to. I hope you somehow always know what those little moments do to my heart.
Shiloh, you are so incredibly special. You have brought a kind of joy into my life that I didn’t even know existed before you. Being your Nonna and getting a front-row seat as you become this funny, feisty, loving little person is a gift I will never take for granted.
I wish I could keep you this little forever, but since I can’t, I’ll just keep soaking up every hug, every kiss, every laugh, every silly face, every adventure…and yes, probably every bit of trouble you are undoubtedly going to get into. 😉💕
