The Anti-Money Laundering Act was passed in 2013,with the intelligence unit tasked to enforce the same.The maiden money laundering conviction in Uganda was in the 2015 case of Uganda vesus Serwamba David Musoke and 6 others. A money launderer is a person who converts, transfers,transports and transmits property knowingly or having reasons to believe that such property to be proceeds of crime, for the purpose of concealing the elicit origin of the said property or asisting any other person who is involved in the commission of the crime generating the proceeds to evade the legal consequences of his/or her actions."Lets bloc the ads." The first batch of National identity cards which were printed during the National security and information systems project in the year 2014/15 shall expire by 2025.This justifies the requirement for renewal under Regulation 19(1) of the Registration of persons regulations SI 67 of 2015, which provides that a national Identity card shall be valid for a period of 10 years from the date of issue.Let's bloc the ads...(why?").

The Medical and Dental practitioners Act 1998,Cap 272 , is one of the laws of Uganda. This law mandates the establishment of the Medical and Dental Practitioners Council whose functions include, but not limited to: maintenance and enforcement of professional medical and dental ethics, supervision of medical and dental practice at all levels, disciplinary control over the medical and dental practitioners, protect society from abuse of medical and dental care and register medical and dental practitioners. The council also has the mandate to deregister a member found guilty of professional misconduct. One of the function of the council is to hold an inquiry when it receives an allegation, which if proved, would constitute misconduct in the part of the registered practitioner. "Let's bloc the ads." The industrial court has awarded former Standard chartered bank employee Grace Tibihikirra Makoko, sh1bn in damages. In addition, Maliki was awarded 15% interest on all monetary awards, per year from the date of the Judgment, until the money is paid in full. The court ruled that Makoko's contract was terminated without according her a fair hearing to address the allegations of failure in oversight over governance and compliance requirements levelled against her.
