Meet the playful and intelligent African baboon. These primates are easily recognizable by their olive-grey fur, expressive faces, and long, dog-like muzzles, making them an engaging and captivating sight.

You can find African baboons in several places in Uganda, including Queen Elizabeth National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. They are often seen in the savannahs, woodlands, and forest edges.

They can be curious and sometimes come close to humans, especially if they are looking for food. It’s best to keep a safe distance and avoid feeding them to ensure both your safety and theirs.
