One of the things I love most about living in Chiang Mai is discovering little local eateries that serve delicious, authentic food at very affordable prices. 🇹🇭❤️🍜🏮

This charming roadside eatery is just around the corner from where I live in Hang D**g 📍🏍️. Today I enjoyed a plate of roasted chicken "khao mun g*i" 🐔🍚 served with fragrant rice, a small bowl of soup 🍲, fresh cucumber 🥒, and a delicious tamarind dipping sauce 🥭. Simple, fresh, and full of flavour!

Affordable living isn't just about spending less—it's about enjoying a wonderful quality of life every day.

Please be aware that Chiang Mai Immigration's Head Office & Central Festival Chiang Mai Branch will be closed from 28–30 July 2026 due to public holidays.

📅 Closed:

• 29 July – Asanha Bucha Day
• 30 July – Buddhist Lent Day

✅ Reopens: Friday, 31 July 2026
