On 28th March 2025, the students of Senior Two, Three and Four of Loyola Secondary School – Wau participated in a community service activity focused on cleaning different areas of Wau town. This initiative was part of the school's commitment to fostering social responsibility and environmental awareness among students.
The students, accompanied by their teachers, cleaned public spaces, including streets, markets, and other community areas. Armed with cleaning tools such as brooms, rakes, and garbage bags, they worked together to remove waste, sweep streets, and promote hygiene in the community.
The event was well received by the local community, with many residents appreciating the students' efforts in keeping the town clean. It also served as a learning opportunity for the students, encouraging them to develop a spirit of service and teamwork.
Loyola Secondary School remains committed to instilling values of leadership, responsibility, and service in its students, ensuring they grow into responsible citizens who contribute positively to society.
