MEET THE HEAD OF JUBA LAW CHAMBERS

Professor Deng Awur Wenyin, is the Head of Juba Law Chambers, he has a vast experience of over 45 years in teaching and practicing Law. He obtained certificates from the University of Khartoum (Sudan), University of Dar Es Salam (Tanzania) University of Leicester (UK). He held several administrative positions in the University of Juba, among them, Dean of Students, Dean of College of Law (Founding Dean), Director of Centre for Languages and Translation, Director of Centre for Women and Child Studies, Director of Institute of Peace, Development, and Security Studies. He had also been a member of a number of National Commissions and Committees, among them; Southern Sudan Referendum Commission (Member), Commission for the Rights of Non - Muslims in the National Capital (Member), Technical Committee to Review the Interim Constitution of Southern Sudan (Member), South Sudan Judicial Service Commission (Member), South Sudan Law Review Commission (Member), National Constitutional Amendment Committee (Member), University of Baher El Ghazal Council (Member), Rumbek University of Science and Technology Council ( Member)
