Earlier today,
The leadership of Greater Equatoria Students Association - SIU headed by me and my Executives had a fruitful meeting with Hon.Alex Latiyu Elias the Minister of Animal Resources, Fisheries and Tourism, CES.

The primary focus of the meeting was the exploration of collaborative ideas that can enhance the effectiveness of GESA-SIU in promoting the empowerment of young girls and women and student mentorship programs.

In his remarks, he emphasised on Mentorship Projects and collaboration of the association with other universities that will help bring about unity and togetherness of Equatorian students across the country.
He has contributed to the association with a sum of One Million South Sudanese Pounds to help smooth run the activities and also promised to work and support the association.

This partnership with the ministry can pave the way for innovative approaches and resources that will not only elevate GESA-SIU's impact but also contribute to the development of our shared goals.
