Spent my afternoon going around the Jalan Batu estate for our regular house visits and catching up with residents.
As we are currently in the peak dengue period, let us continue doing our part to keep our homes and surroundings mosquito-free. Thankfully, the Wolbachia Project has been keeping the situation well under control so far, but we should still remain cautious by clearing stagnant water and keeping our environment clean.
At the same time, feeding pigeons is an offence. Throwing food down from high floors also constitutes high-rise littering, which is another offence. Beyond the penalties, leftover food attracts pests and creates hygiene issues for the community.
Let us all continue working together to keep our estate safe, clean and pleasant for everyone. Thank you to all residents who took the time to chat and share your feedback with us.
