aruddin Chik, which was held in Kajang, Malaysia. Believing that "your best is never enough", Executive Chairman, William Chen went to Australia to set up another real estate business. In recent years, we have also expanded to several other countries including China, Indonesia and Singapore

Following in his father’s footsteps, Ian T.K Chen took over as Chief Executive Officer. Being a seasoned investor with an extensive property investment portfolio, both locally and abroad, Ian has driven the company to the next level through International Property Marketing. His goal is to introduce international property investment opportunities from renowned international developers to the Asian market, more specifically the South East Asian market. Under Ian’s direction, Jalin’s focus is not to become the biggest, rather, simply the best. To date, there are offices in Australia, China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, with plans to extend the network to neighbouring Asian countries. Ian’s efforts and sheer determination has paid off and Jalin Realty is now one of the top choices among international developers to represent them abroad. A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our exclusive FOUND Huntingdale Private Event. It was a pleasure sharing valuable insights into one of Melbourne's exciting commercial property opportunities and discussing the latest developments in Australia's property market.

Recent changes announced in the Australian Federal Budget have reshaped the residential investment landscape. The reforms include limiting negative gearing for residential property to new builds and commercial properties, replacing the 50% Capital Gains Tax (CGT) discount with cost base indexation and a 30% minimum tax rate, as well as upcoming changes to SMSF Limited Recourse Borrowing Arrangements (LRBA) for residential properties.

As a result, many investors are now shifting their focus towards commercial and industrial property investments, creating new opportunities in the Australian market. We are pleased to have received a strong response and many enquiries during our recent commercial property update session.
