Over the past few years of my life, I didn’t really accompany my father to work.
I always thought there would be more time.
This day changed something in me.
Not because of what I saw…
but because of what I finally understood.
How quietly a life can be spent sacrificing everything for someone else.
How much love can exist without being spoken out loud.
And how many moments I had taken for granted without realizing it.
I’m grateful I get to see things differently now.
Grateful I still have time to be more present.
Because one day, we will realize…
all we ever really wanted was more ordinary days like this.
This Father’s Day means a little more to me. ❤️
