🌟 A Journey of Resolution 🌟
I want to share a heartfelt story that highlights the importance of professional and compassionate assistance during life's most challenging times.
A young man, the sole owner of an HDB flat, passed away suddenly, leaving behind his mother, sister, and foreigner wife. With no will in place, the Singapore Intestate Succession Act dictated that his assets be split equally between his widowed wife and his mother. However, the complexity of the situation was compounded by unprofessional legal advice, which led to unnecessary conflict and a prolonged and unpleasant conveyancing process.
For four long years, the sale of the HDB flat was stalled due to misguidance and a lack of clear communication. Both the mother and the widowed wife, who were initially in agreement over the 50-50 split, found themselves caught in a drawn-out legal battle.
