⚖️ Another successful court victory for RuLex Consulting

A Kenyan citizen contacted our lawyer, Ruhiyya Isayeva, after the Swedish Migration Agency rejected her request to extend her stay in Sweden till June 2026 while supporting her seriously ill husband.

In April 2026 RuLex Consulting appealed the decision before the Migration Court.

Today, on 27 may 2026, the court overturned the SMA’s decision and granted our client a temporary residence permit until June 2026.

I april 2026 överklagade vår advokat beslutet till Migrationsdomstolen.
Idag, den 27 maj 2026, upphävde Migrationsdomstolen i Malmö Migrationsverkets beslut och beviljade vår klient ett tidsbegränsat uppehållstillstånd till och med juni 2026.

✌️From the deportation (utvisning) decision in October 2025 to a 4-year Residence Permit decision in March 2026! ✌️🤩

A woman and her minor child, both citizens of Nepal, received a negative decision in October 2025 on their application to extend their residence permits in Sweden as family members of an EU long-term resident (the husband holds Long-Term Resident EU status for work). Their application had originally been submitted in March 2023.

The family turned to us for assistance in November 2025. Our jurist, Ruhiyya Isayeva, promptly filed an appeal the same month.

In December 2025, the Migration Court ruled in their favor, overturning the decision and returning the case to the Swedish Migration Agency for a new assessment.

✔️In March 2026, the Swedish Migration Agency granted residence permits to both the mother and child - covering the entire waiting period from March 2023 through March 2027.

Nya regler för arbetstillstånd i Sverige från 1 juni 2026📢📢📢

Den 1 juni 2026 börjar nya regler för arbetstillstånd att gälla i Sverige. Regeländringarna består av flera delar som påverkar dig som ska ansöka om eller förlänga arbetstillstånd för en anställning i Sverige.

En av de största förändringarna är ett nytt lönekrav: för att du ska kunna få arbetstillstånd ska din lön vara minst 90 procent av medianlönen i Sverige. Eftersom medianlönen justeras varje år är det den medianlön som var publicerad vid tiden för din ansökan som gäller.
