لاہور ہائی کورٹ نے فیصلہ دیا کہ بلیئرڈ یا سنوکر جیسی تفریحی سرگرمیاں کسی قانون کے تحت ممنوع نہیں ہیں۔
یہ کھیل غیر اخلاقی نہیں اور نہ ہی عوامی نقصان کے زمرے میں آتے ہیں۔عدالت نے کہا کہ کے تحت اختیارات صرف عارضی طور پر استعمال کیے جا سکتے ہیں، کاروبار کو مستقل طور پر بند کرنا جائز نہیں۔
Recreational activity like billiard or snooker are not prohibited by any law, nor are the said games immoral, or fall within the protected sphere as envisaged by Section 133 of the Code; powers under Chapter X of Cr.P.C are special powers to be exercised as a temporary measure, and not to be used to indefinitely shut down businesses.
