AL-Qadir Law Firm strongly condemns the tragic acid attack on Dr. Mahnoor, an act that has shocked the conscience of society and raised serious concerns regarding the safety and protection of medical professionals.

While reports indicate that the alleged main perpetrator is no longer alive, several questions surrounding the incident continue to cause concern within the medical community and the public at large. In view of the gravity of the matter and the demands of the medical fraternity, we support the constitution of an independent and impartial judicial commission to ascertain all relevant facts and ensure complete transparency.

Justice is not merely the punishment of an accused person; it also requires a thorough determination of the truth and accountability wherever warranted. We urge the authorities to address all concerns through a fair, transparent, and credible process.

We express our heartfelt solidarity with Dr. Mahnoor and her family and pray for her complete and speedy recovery.

The Founder and members of AL_Qadir Law Firm had the honor of attending an important conference on Thalassemia, organized by Mir Habat Khan Haleemi, father of Hon’ble Justice Sardar Haleemi.

The conference was attended by distinguished personalities from the legal fraternity, medical field, public service, and civil society, including Mr. Ghulam Sarwar Brohi, Incharge Federal Mohtasib Balochistan; Mr. Aiman Ullah Kanrani Advocate, Ex-President Supreme Court Bar Association; Mr. Rauf Atta Advocate, Ex-President Supreme Court Bar Association; Senior Advocate Supreme Court Mr. Ali Ahmed Kurd; and Senior Advocate Supreme Court Mr. Muhammad Sharif Advocate, Deputy Advisor Federal Mohtasib Balochistan. Renowned medical specialist Dr. Bilal, one of the leading doctors in Balochistan performing bone marrow-related procedures, along with respected government officers, members of civil society, and distinguished guests from Karachi associated with the Kashif Iqbal Trust, also attended the event.

During the program, land was generously donated for the establishment of a Thalassemia Centre in Quetta city, reflecting a strong commitment toward improving healthcare facilities and support for patients suffering from Thalassemia. It was also shared that a Thalassemia Centre is already operational at Cantonment Hospital, providing valuable services to patients and their families.

The event highlighted the collective commitment of legal professionals, medical experts, social welfare organizations, and philanthropists toward raising awareness and strengthening efforts against Thalassemia.
