ELECTRICAL BUSES are more POLLUTER than diesel buses??????

This is a misconception that the electrical buses are more climate friendly and generate less or no GHG emissions????????Reality is contrary to it.

Grid supply of about 1.50 kWh electricity is required for electrical bus to cover one kilometer distance (electricity required to charge the battery at 90% charger efficiency). It generates 0.752 kg CO2 per kilometer (at 0.501 kg CO2/kWh emission factor of grid supply in Pakistan). On the other hand, diesel bus covers about 3.5 kilometer in one liter of diesel. It generates 0.751 kg CO2 per kilometer (at 2.63 kg CO2/liter emission factor of diesel).

Unless we shift our grid supply to the green energy, electrical buses will never ever be climate friendly so authorities should first focus on greening their grid supply rather than focusing on ELECTRICAL BUSES?????????????????
