As promised, we are taking another step towards new heights!

On March 15, the Law Moot Society, University Gillani Law College (UGLC), BZU Multan, represented by President Rtr Aslam Chamkani , officially signed an MoU with the Library, District Bar Association, Multan, represented by Library Secretary, Advocate Muhammad Shahid Naseem.

Accompanying the President LMS in this event were Vice President Bilal Naveed, Director Research & Training Nouman Davezai, and Executive Member Fahim Ullah, joining hands to strengthen opportunities for aspiring law students.

This partnership is all about empowering students by giving them access to valuable legal resources, expert mentorship, and professional training opportunities.

🌟 Introducing Our Director of Research & Training – Nouman Dawezai! 🌟

The Law Moot Society, Gillani Law College, BZU Multan proudly presents Nouman Dawezai, a distinguished mooter, legal researcher, and a passionate legal mind committed to advancing litigation, arbitration, and mediation. With extensive experience in national and international moot court competitions (National Rounds), he has represented in renowned platforms such as the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition and the 1st National Mediation Moot Competition. His mooting journey also includes participation in the Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition, 1st Bahria International Moot Court Competition, Pakistan College of Law National Moot Court Competition, and Panjand National Moot Court Competition.

Beyond mooting, Nouman has refined his expertise through Mediation Skills Advocacy Training at MICADR Islamabad, Islamabad High Court, enhancing his ability to guide aspiring legal professionals. His dedication to legal research and advocacy ensures that students at Gillani Law College gain valuable practical experience and professional development opportunities.

As the Director of Research & Training, Nouman aims to elevate the standards of legal education by providing law students with comprehensive training, mentorship, and a deeper understanding of advocacy. Introducing Aoon Ali Abbas, the newly appointed Event Manager and Outreach Head for the Law Moot Society! He is an ardent and ambitious law student, deeply committed to the craft of advocacy. He has participated in some of the most esteemed international moot court competitions, including the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition 2025 and the Bahria 1st International Moot Court Competition. Additionally, he also has participated in national moot court competitions such as UCP Taakra 2025 and the Innovative Olympiad 4.0 at UOL.

Outside of the courtroom, He has been an active member of distinguished organizations of his own law department like the Centre for Eminent Studies in Law (CESL) and the Gillanians Go Green Society, acuminate his leadership skills and broadening his perspective. As he steps into his new role with the Law Moot Society, He is ready to channel his passion, expertise and drive into curating impactful events and abetting meaningful relationships within the legal community.

Meet Muhammad Zain – Treasurer, Moot Society, Gillani Law College (4th Semester)

From a quiet observer to a proactive leader, Muhammad Zain is continuously striving to enhance his journey through dedication and persistence. Starting as a management volunteer in college events, he quickly honed his organizational and finance management skills, proving himself as a key asset to the Moot Society.

His advocacy skills shone on the international stage when he participated in the 2025 Jessup Moot Competition, securing two victories—a testament to his legal acumen and commitment to excellence. Beyond mooting, his experience as an event coordinator has refined his leadership abilities, making him a natural choice for the role of Treasurer.

Now, as he takes on this new responsibility, Zain envisions a stronger, well-structured Moot Society, ensuring financial stability and creating more opportunities for aspiring mooters. His long-term aspirations lie in corporate law and legal research, aiming to make a lasting impact in the legal world.

We are excited to have him on board and look forward to seeing him take our society to new heights!

We are proud to announce Qaiser Ali Bangash as the General Secretary of the Law Moot Society!

Currently in the 8th semester of his LLB, Qaiser is an experienced mooter, having represented Gillani Law College in many prestigious competitions such as the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition 2023 and the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot 2024.

He is a certified Mediation Counsel, accredited by MICADR (Islamabad High Court annexed Dispute Resolution Centre). Beyond mooting, he has been a passionate advocate for human rights education, leading multiple groups and sessions focused on classical liberalism.

We look forward to his leadership in advancing the society’s mission of legal excellence and advocacy. Wishing him the best in this new role!

Muhammad Bilal Naveed steps into the role of Vice President of the Law Moot Society with a wealth of experience in legal research and mooting. He has participated in prestigious competitions such as the
29th Annual Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition, where he was a semifinalist, and the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.
In addition to his mooting accomplishments, Muhammad Bilal has actively participated in various Model United Nations (MUN) events, honing his skills in diplomacy and public speaking. His expertise in both International and Domestic Law research strengthens the Law Moot Society’s foundation as he works to drive the society toward new heights of excellence.
