یہ آٹزم سینٹر آٹسٹک بچوں اور ان کے والدین کے لیے امید، حمایت اور حوصلہ افزائی کی کرن ہے۔
(ہم نے دی پنجاب ایمپاورمنٹ آف ڈس ایبلیٹی ریگولیشنز 2025 میں ریسپائیٹ سینٹر، ایسی جگہ جہاں معذور بچوں کے ماں باپ کچھ دیر کیلئے ڈے کئیر کی طرح بچے چھوڑ سکیں، کا کانسیپٹ بھی دیا تھا جس کی بہت زیادہ ضرورت ہے جس کیلئے یہ سینٹر بہترین جگہ ہے، ہماری حکومت وقت سے اسے بھی شروع کرنے کی التماس ہے)
حکومت کی طرف سے یہ بھی اعلان کیا گیا ہےکہ آٹسٹک بچوں کے علاج، دیکھ بھال اور بحالی کے لیے سہولیات کو صوبے بھر میں ضلعی سطح تک بڑھایا جائے گا، جو جامع اور قابل رسائی خصوصی تعلیم اور بچوں کی صحت کی دیکھ بھال کے لیے ایک بہتر قدم ہے
افتتاحی تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے وزیراعلیٰ نے کہا کہ ایک سال قبل جو زمین کا ایک خالی ٹکڑا تھا اب اسے پاکستان کے پہلے سرکاری آٹزم سنٹر میں تبدیل کر دیا گیا ہے اور اسے انتہائی ذاتی اطمینان اور خوشی کا لمحہ قرار دیا۔

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday announced that facilities for the treatment, care and rehabilitation of autistic children would be expanded to the district level across the province, reaffirming the government’s commitment to inclusive and accessible special education and healthcare.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the Maryam Nawaz School and Resource Center for Autism, the chief minister said that what was an empty piece of land just a year ago had now been transformed into Pakistan’s first government-run autism center, calling it a moment of immense personal satisfaction and joy.
