اگر عورت عدالت سے خلع کی ڈگری حاصل کر لے اور یونین کونسل سے طلاق مؤثر سرٹیفکیٹ بھی جاری ہو جائے تو پاکستانی قانون کے تحت پہلا نکاح مکمل طور پر ختم ہو جاتا ہے اور اس کے بعد شوہر اور بیوی کے درمیان رجوع خود بخود ممکن نہیں رہتا۔ ایسی صورت میں اگر دونوں دوبارہ ساتھ رہنا چاہیں تو نیا نکاح کرنا ہوگا، نیا نکاح نامہ تیار کیا جائے گا اور یونین کونسل میں نئی رجسٹریشن کروانا لازمی ہو گی تاکہ سرکاری ریکارڈ مکمل ہو سکے۔ بغیر نئے نکاح کے اکٹھا رہنا قانونی اور شرعی پیچیدگیاں پیدا کر سکتا ہے، اس لیے بہتر ہے کہ دوبارہ ازدواجی تعلق قائم کرنے سے پہلے مکمل قانونی طریقہ اختیار کیا جائے۔
