بھٹا چوک (غفار چوک)، ضلع قصور پر کوڑا کرکٹ کے ڈمپنگ پوائنٹ کا دیرینہ مسئلہ اجاگر کرنے کی درخواست
میں حکومت پنجاب اور سی ایم پنجاب مانیٹرنگ کمیٹی کی جانب سے "ستھرا پنجاب پروگرام" کے تحت ضلع قصور کے رہائشیوں کے لیے صاف اور صحت مند ماحول یقینی بنانے کی کاوشوں کو سراہتا ہوں۔ ڈی سی آفس قصور میں حاجی محمد نعیم صفدر انصاری ایم پی اے کی زیر صدارت ہونے والا اجلاس ان مقاصد کے حصول کے لیے ایک حوصلہ افزا قدم ہے۔
تاہم، میں ایک ایسے دیرینہ مسئلے کی نشاندہی کرنا چاہتا ہوں جو عرصہ دراز سے قصور کے شہریوں کو متاثر کر رہا ہے۔ بھٹا چوک (غفار چوک)، لیاقت علی روڈ، تحصیل قصور پر موجود کوڑا کرکٹ کا ڈمپنگ پوائنٹ کئی مسائل کی جڑ بنا ہوا ہے، جن میں شامل ہیں:
دھویں اور بدبو کی وجہ سے صحت کے مسائل۔
ماحولیاتی آلودگی۔
دن بھر اور خاص طور پر اسکول کے اوقات میں ٹریفک جام۔
قریبی رہائشی کالونیوں اور بچوں کے لیے حفاظتی خدشات۔
یہ ڈمپنگ پوائنٹ ایک بڑی آبادی کی خدمت کرتا ہے، لیکن اس کی موجودہ جگہ پر موجودگی کسی طور پر مناسب نہیں۔ میں حکام سے درخواست کرتا ہوں کہ اس مسئلے کو "ستھرا پنجاب پروگرام" کے تحت ترجیحی بنیادوں پر حل کیا جائے اور اس مقام کو یا تو کہیں اور منتقل کیا جائے یا بہتر طریقے سے منظم کیا جائے۔ حکومت کے پاس اس خصوصی مہم کے دوران اس مسئلے کو موثر طور پر حل کرنے کے لیے کئی آپشنز موجود ہیں۔
مزید برآں، صدر دیوان روڈ کے قریب مسلم ٹاؤن کے مقام پر کوڑا کرکٹ کے بکھرے ہونے کا مسئلہ بھی توجہ طلب ہے۔ یہ مقام رہائشیوں کے لیے خراب ماحول پیدا کر رہا ہے۔ حکومت، ایل ڈبلیو ایم سی (لاہور ویسٹ مینجمنٹ کمپنی) کی مدد سے، قصور میں صفائی ستھرائی کے لیے لاہور میں اپنائے گئے بہترین طریقوں کو یہاں بھی نافذ کرے تو اس کا بہت فائدہ ہوگا۔
ان مسائل کے مستقل حل کے لیے اقدامات اٹھانے سے نہ صرف قصور کے شہریوں کی زندگی کے معیار میں بہتری آئے گی بلکہ یہ ان کی دعاؤں اور شکر گزاری کا سبب بھی بنے گا۔
آپ کے غور و فکر کا شکریہ، اور مجھے امید ہے کہ اس مسئلے پر فوری اور مؤثر کارروائی کی جائے گی۔
Subject: Addressing the Longstanding Issue of the Dumping Point at Bhata Chowk (Gafar Chowk), District Kasur
I appreciate the efforts of the Punjab Government and the CM Punjab Monitoring Committee under the "Sutrah Punjab Program" to ensure a clean and healthy environment for the residents of District Kasur. The meeting chaired by Haji Muhammad Naeem Safdar Ansari, MPA, at the DC Office Kasur is an encouraging step towards achieving these goals.
However, I would like to highlight a persistent issue that has been affecting the residents of Kasur for a long time. The dumping point at Bhata Chowk (Gafar Chowk), Liaqat Ali Road, Tehsil Kasur, has been a source of numerous problems, including:
• Health hazards caused by smoke and bad odors.
• Environmental degradation.
• Traffic congestion throughout the day, especially during school hours.
• Safety concerns for children and residents in nearby colonies.
This dumping point serves a significant number of residential colonies and is unjustified at its current location. I urge the authorities to address this matter under the "Sutrah Punjab Program" and consider relocating or properly managing this site. The government has numerous options during this special campaign to resolve this issue effectively.
Additionally, the situation along Sadar Dewan Road, near Muslim Town, is another area of concern. Garbage and salvage remain scattered, creating a poor environment for residents. It would be beneficial if the government, with the support of LWMC (Lahore Waste Management Company), could adopt similar cleanliness practices in Kasur as they have implemented in Lahore.
Taking permanent action to resolve these issues will not only improve the quality of life for Kasur residents but also earn their gratitude and prayers for this commendable initiative.
